Many banks carry change collecting machines. You put your coins in the machine, it counts it for you, prints a reciept, which can then be collected as cash in bigger denominations from the cashier.
This service is usually free if you have an account in the bank. But, you should always verify how much the bank is going to charge.
You can always deposit the money in the bank directly. I have never tried it, but the cashier should accept the money in whatever denomination you give it to him as long as it is US currency.
