When I was in 7th-8th grade, I used to see a lot of advertisements for personal computers in the newspapers, where they would say that a computer had certain MB of SDRAM (Memory). In school, we were studying SRAM: Static RAM and DRAM: Dynamic RAM, so I asked my teacher what SDRAM stood for? The answer I received, "Static-Dynamic RAM." When I told my "computer guy," he couldn't stop laughing.
PS: Static and dynamic are antonyms, so RAM cannot be static and dynamic at the same time.
